Anchor Sprint is Certified in the Claude Partner Network.
In our builds, an AI agent rarely fails on step one. It fails on step twelve.
The WhatsApp order was read correctly and the customer record matched. Then a stock figure came back wrong, and the agent carried on as if it were right.
Most of what we have learned building agents for businesses in Malaysia and Singapore comes down to that twelfth step, and it is why we build on Claude, powered by Anthropic.
So what does Claude Partner Network Certified mean? It is a status for the firm, and it recognises the work our team has put into getting certified on Claude.
Anthropic describes the programme at claude.com/partners. To judge any vendor's claim, ours included, see what being a Claude partner actually means.
Why we chose Anthropic
Claude holds up on long chains of real work
A useful agent works through a chain: it reads the order, checks the system, drafts the reply, and stops for a person when something does not add up.
Agentic work means the AI takes several actions in a row instead of answering once. Each action is a tool call (the agent using one of your systems), and the agent must notice when one returns something wrong.
In our client builds, that behaviour decides whether an agent survives real data, and it is why Claude is our default for this work. We are describing our own delivery experience here, not quoting a benchmark.
An agent that knows when to stop
For an agent that touches your orders and your customers, the property we want most is restraint: knowing when to stop and hand the decision back.
We design it to pause on a figure it cannot reconcile and ask a person, rather than guess. That is why the company behind the model matters to us.
Anthropic describes itself this way: "Anthropic is an AI safety and research company. We build reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems." To us, steerable means an agent you can tell to stop and hand back, which is the restraint we design for.
An open standard for reaching your systems
In November 2024, Anthropic open-sourced the Model Context Protocol (MCP), "a new standard for connecting AI assistants to the systems where data lives".
MCP is the standard an agent uses to reach your CRM or ERP (customer and operations systems), so we write fewer custom adapters between our code and yours.
We also build the model as a swappable component behind our own interface, so choosing Claude is not a lock-in.
Where we would not use it
We do not recommend Claude for everything.
As of October 2026, other models are ahead on real-time voice and image generation, in our assessment. For very high-volume, genuinely simple classification, a cheaper small model wins on cost per task.
The full technical case is on our page about why we build on Claude, and when we don't.
Where we think agents go next in Malaysian businesses
This part is opinion, so read it as such.
We think that within a few years, many Malaysian businesses will have agents owning the repetitive middle of their work:
- matching supplier invoices against purchase orders
- keying in orders that arrive by WhatsApp and email
- writing the first draft of a customer reply
We expect the same pattern in the businesses we work with in Singapore.
People stay in charge of judgement, such as the customer who is unhappy for a reason no system recorded.
We also think that future only arrives safely if a few habits become normal:
- Evaluation before launch, so you learn what an agent gets wrong before your customer does.
- Someone on call after launch, because data changes shape and vendors change their software.
- Honesty when AI is not needed. Some workflows are better served by a plain integration, and saying so is part of the job.
In our view, month nine tells you more about an agent's safety than launch day does.
What it means if you work with us
- Your agents are built by a team whose people hold Claude certifications.
- Every agent ships with a published evaluation scorecard, so you can see what it was measured on.
- Monitoring and on-call continue after launch, delivered from Setia Alam in Malaysia and Suntec in Singapore.
- Your own team can prepare for the Claude Certified Associate or Claude Certified Architect exams through Anchor Academy. We prepare candidates; Anthropic awards the certification.
If you are registered with HRD Corp, the training may be claimable once the grant is approved. As an HRD Corp approved training provider, we prepare the application on e-TRiS (HRD Corp's online grant system) and file the claim.
Tell us which workflow fails at step twelve
If someone in your business spends the day re-keying or matching documents, tell us about that workflow. We will tell you whether it needs an agent at all, and if it does, what we would measure before it goes live.
